waves of guilt
it rushes inside of me,
bringing down the walls,
it scratches every bit of it,
leaving traces and scars,
say, “what's your biggest sin?”
demanding me to speak,
when my tongues tied,
and my body fried,
it speak, eyes sore and mouth opened,
say, “confess. plead guilty.
that's what you are.
that's all that is left of you.”
and it echoes,
bringing down the walls once more
it flames before my eyes,
not unknowingly meant this to happen,
it was supposed to do this,
it was meant to go like this!
filling in the gap between my toes,
say, “i'm not sorry,
you are. try to disregard me from your touch,
you never will succeed.”
and slowly,
i hold my breath,
as the water come splashing,
and drowning me with it.
